That's it for the amatuer season. the boy's ''and Millie'' are taking a well earned rest to enjoy the summer. We've had a great first season and lots has been learned, now we can look forward to our second season and the novices at the end of the year. Thanks to everyone for their ongoing support, especially Tom Gallagher (M4 van centre) and Ervin (V cars)

a good finish to the season - 06/07/2010
Saturday afternoon in portsmouth C.J. Singh and Joe Beeden finished off the season with a win and a loss, but both had great fights. C.J was in his second bout and had been working hard in the gym to stay focused on keeping busy for the whole 3 rounds, whichcost him his first fight a couple of months ago. He boxed lovely controling the entire bout against a gutsy kid who never stopped trying. It was C.j's jab that was the deciding factor along with a few nicely timed lead right hands. After the three rounds C.J was awarded a unanimus decision.
Joe Beeden had a barn burner with Micheal York at 59kg. It was a close fight and no one can be upset with the result, but it was nice to get an e-mail from their clubs head coach to offer a rematch in the new year because he felt it was too close to call also. C.J. boxed at 39kg and Joe boxed at 59kg. The club hosts treated us great and we look forward to having them up here for one of our shows in the new season

guys on the youth squad and amatuers please keep updating your on-line training diaries. they will be of great help to you the more you progress. if your coach hasn't updated you lately please ask them to do so also. the dairies and student training videos are very improtant to you development. peace
